Dragonball Trailer Hits in December
FOX has recently informed me that they are shooting for the trailer to be released 12/12/2008. This isn’t 100% just yet, this is only what their planned release date is (remember that they said the same thing with Max Payne). Anyways, that would mean the trailer might premiere with “The Day the Earth Stood Still”. In my opinion, I think this is a great idea. Not so much it being premiered with “The Day the Earth Stood Still” but being released near Christmas time. During this time, promotion for the film will officially begin. So expect to see plenty of TV spots/merchandise/etc around X-mas time.

I ain’t getting my hopes up. I’ll get excited when I’m watching the trailer. This movie has potential. I am a huge DBZ fan and I am willing to give this film a shot. I honestly don’t care if they fuck up the film because I still have to show to watch. It’s all good.

@ Jeff – James Marsters already signed onto two more Dragonball films, it is planned to be a trilogy. But nothing is final yet, as the last FOX interview stated. Lets see how the first movie goes initially.

Hi I just want to say that I don’t want Fox To screw this franchise and I think that they are doing it right now whit Piccolo he doesn’t even look like. I don’t see this movie to be so great but I gonna have to wait to see is this movie prove me wrong. The should have pick Jackie Chan For Goku and Jet Le if they plan to put Vegeta in the movie too. But anyway if this movie doesn’t do great please don’t make a sequel, get another director and start from zero new story,characters all.

Ok first of all, this is Dragonball, not Dragonball Z or GT. If the movie is going to follow the story line goku is going to be a young child with a tail, who kills his adopted grandfather, when he turns into an ape, on a full moon.
From what I can see of the posters and leaked footage, goku is a teen, which makes no sense at this point, to call it DragonBall if its closer to the DragonBall Z line. Seems kind of odd.

Oh my god people this is a disaster waiting to happen….! People these idiots cant even stick to the original story line………..what makes you think they should do a sequel or they might just surprise us and do a fucking pre-qual ………trust me this movie going to disapoint all us….and i mean the real fucking FANS……….this thing they are calling “MOVIE” has soo many fuck up’s……..Timeline-characters-storyline oh my god and whats with the fucking cars it;s DB not Tokyo Drift…………what goku not getting the flying NIMBUS so they added a Dodge Charger……….LOL
