New Dragonball Movie Screenshots!
Nerdorama has been provided with awesome new screenshots of the Dragonball movie. And guess who we get to see? Piccolo! Goku in action! We get a close up of the actual Dragonball, a close up of Piccolo, new screenshot of Master Roshi and Goku training, and much more! Note that this still were taken directly from the official DB movie teaser trailer, so I’d expect to see that sooner than October.
Finally, Piccolo has been revealed. There is a total of two screenshots of him. One showing him as an introduction from the upcoming trailer and the other showing him in action ready to fight Goku. He wears a black armored suit overlapped with a red robe. His facial features are similar to a demon or vampire. His skin is very pale and light green.
The next screenshot we see is of Goku in action. He is wearing his trademark orange gi with the kame symbol. He looks very intense as he is ready to spar with the demon Piccolo. The other picture of Goku is him knealing before Master Roshi’s dead body and is calling the eternal dragon (Shenron) to resurrect his master.
Other screenshots include a close up of the actual Dragonball, an day time eclipse before Shenron rises, Goku training with Master Roshi, Goku examining a Dragonball, and Master Roshi sitting a a gathering table with other masters.
These stills show a very promising future for the Dragonball film.

Hi, I’m a reader of nerdorama, the site that posted the pics. The webmaster said that he got the pics from an anonymous source in facebook, so they’re not a 100% sure that they’re real… but they look like it!
I, personally, think it sucks. Big time. Sigh.

I love dragon ball but I can’t believe that they are making such a lame movie version of dragon ball, I mean just look at the actors, they don’t even come close to looking like the ones from the series. That guy with goku is supposed to be roshi. Roshi is supposed to be old and hair less!!

i’ve always loved dragonball, and i see alot of people started to complain about this. but im not gonna complain because i am at least happy that they are finally making a Dragonball movie. So i’ll let it pass this time >.>

20th Century Fox did a terrible make up on James Marsters. It’s green,not white, the guy who did that didnt c Dragonball or Dragonball Z. They should put the make up, make him green and put CGI on those that those Namekians have on the top of there head.

@ MartyMart - Thats Lord Piccolo. He is pale mainly due to being imprisoned for 2000 years. Young Piccolo (Junior) will be green as stated by James Marsters himself.

Well, fucking Hollywood did it again, they screwed up a Japanese master piece, but what the hell?? why did they do this?? i can’t understand why??? this an insult, an offense an aberration to all the DB fans on not fans around the world, because they are not trying to make a film about an new anime or about of some stupid sci fi martial art’s movie, we are talking abou Dragon Ball!!!!!! this anime as famous as superman,, or batman or robotech, or transformers amd it has a really interesting story, very charismatic characters, so WTF!!! it is hard to build a world that looks like the dragon ball’s world?? ohh hell not! just think about this: the dragon ball’s world, or universe is similar as the Star wars’ plus if you add some of the Forbbiden Kingdoom world and matrix revolution’s world then you have a perfect view at the dragon ball universe. the gross for this disaster is about of $100 millions, i think they had everything to create a good looking dragon ball’s world but the did’nt, they already fucked up our dreams to see Goku a his friends in a true movie, not this piece crap

Dude, a live action movie is not an insult. Plus we have only seen the tip of the iceberg at the very most. I grow tired of continuing to tell people that it is an adaptation. It won’t be 100% accurate to the anime.

Ok everyone this is BASED off of db when are people gonna realize that?!I think James looks amazin as Piccolo,I’m almost sure once the actual trailer comes out he will be green.The only character I’m mad about is Bulma.I remember readin that Emmy agreed to dye her hair blue…so why only the lil streak?!And also realize people that they already expect this movie to do so good that it’s the Saiyan Saga for the next movie and that’s the one I care about.So help me god if they f*ck up Vegeta I’m gonna cry!

I hope if they continue to make these that they first include a story with the Red Ribbon army so that people that are new to the franchise can see Dr. Gero go into hiding. I know it’s not cannon but it would make for less back story that would have to be told. Then do a third movie with Piccolo jr. as the main baddie. Doing it this way would allow the principle characters to come into their own. If they would have to reboot into Z it would give them time to find what works and what doesn’t. If you really serious about effecting the box office and killing any future anime adaptations then your going to have to do more than just talk about it. Your going to have to take social action. But that’s harder than coming to a place like this and throwin down the hate. The DragonBall anime franchise ran its course 10 years ago! What story didn’t they tell?? It has to be reborn to be worth watching. With all the hate being generated over this how come you haven’t ponied up $10 or $20 each and financed your own movie? Or isn’t the true believer base large enough? Well you could have used the proceeds to fund an organization to raise the necessary money. It’s been 10 years people since the anime stopped where is your war chest or your organization? Many of you make me believe that you are inflexible, closed minded, uncreative, and selfish to boot.

Hey :EA-NOH: first of all……..Dont we deserve to see what we grew up with…? Not some stupid wannabe film…..these fucking idiots are doing something that is going to KILL a franchise that has lived for over ten years……i mean based on the this awful leak it looks like there not trying hard enough……….You keep saying it’s an ADAPTATION ……..fuck them yeah they say that but there intensions are like the real thing……..They knew what they were getting there selves into ……..so why not do it right…? right? They miaght ass well do a fucking series off of this crap they call DB……..they have had enough time to come up with some great…….i mean over the years other movies (Mortal kombat, the covenant, matrix, ) have done better shit then this crap they call movie…..
