For those that have not yet seen this commercial, it is worth a look. This is the commercial for the brand new Dragonball video game entitled Burst Limit.

Below is an off the set photo provided by Jenova Anime with Grandpa Gohan. Atleast now we get a better look at him. Also, if you notice there is a poster of Dragonball GT in the background, could this have been taken at another expo?

Another video has been leaked with these two fighting at the World Martial Arts Tournament. This third one has these two fighting rather quickly in my opinion, and this is before any CG is done. Quite impressive. Oh and sorry for the fans sreaming so loud…

The following set photos have been provided by Anime Jenova. Now we get a live and closer look at one of the assassin’s costume. This creature is looking pretty twisted in my opinion, but it isn’t quite detailed so hopefully some good CG work is done.

Film1 had this to say about the Dragonball trailer shown.

“It’s definitely true that they’ve shown a teaser of Dragonball, but it’s just a couple of short scenes. Because of the enormous amounts of trailers, teasers, clips and films shown at the Expo, I can’t remember exactly what I saw, but I remember that it was cool!”

Accoring to MovieLand, the move trailer has no specific date to be released just yet. There have been rumors on a November/December release which is the most likely date. This also confirms that Japan will still be seeing promotion before anyone else. View the interview below.

I have written to Mr. Castillo, director of promotion of 20th Century Fox of Mexico and he informed me:

Referring to Dragonball, specifically, [nothing has been left from] the international market. All you have is exclusives for [the] U.S. and Japan. Japan has the rights to launch the materials before anywhere in the world. In fact, the area of international (to which we belong with the rest of the world), has no materials for the film. When materials are released for Dragonball, Fox of Mexico will send in the same manner as it does with its other productions …

Regarding the teaser trailer and teaser poster

We have no date for the U.S. In fact in the licensing show there was “footage” but only for select people to study. So far no date at all. We therefore remain under the same [conditions] as the U.S.

Well, it is clear that at least here in Mexico we have no precise date of when the film promotion for Dragonball [will start], plus any material that will show up will be in Japan first, as they have the rights …
